Silence Entertainment in association with Oscar Events Entertainments organises Metal For Nepal, a humanitarian project with the goal of raising funds to help Nepal to rebuild after the 25.04.2015 disaster.
Underside, a band from Nepal were on their European tour with a Swiss band “Voice Of Ruin” when the massive 7.9 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal. They returned home as soon as possible and started the relief work by raising funds through the social media sites. All kinds of help started pouring in from all over the globe. There friends from the band – Derrick started “No Silence For Nepal”, a humanitarian project and raised huge amounts of help to Nepal.
Randy Schaller, the front man for the band “Voice Of Ruin” went back after the tour and he wanted to do something for the country of his metal brothers in Nepal. He started by organising a show called “Metal For Nepal” and that’s when things blew out of proportion and started spreading all over the world. More than 120 bands from 25 countries started doing their own version of metal for Nepal and all the fund raised from every show was going to Nepal.
The Metal For Nepal Event will be held on Bhrikutimandap Ground – park this saturday on 5th September, 2015 and will begin from 12 pm onwards. Join the event and help this cause by getting your tickets now for Rs 500. You can also get the tickets at the entrance gate for Rs 700.
