Pepsi ICC WCL Division 2 begins today with Nepal vs Uganda

And finally, Pepsi ICC WCL Division 2 will begin today at Windhoek at 09:30 local time (1:15 pm NPT). Nepal as a winner of Division 3 game will  compete with five other associative teams Canada, Kenya, Namibia, Netherlands and Uganda in the 8 days long tournament. The final and play-offs will be played on Saturday, 24 January, with the top two teams qualifying to play in the ICC Intercontinental Cup 2015-17 and Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Championship.

Today, three games will be played including Nepal vs Uganda, Namibia vs Kenya and Netherlands vs Canada. Nepal and Uganda are the finalist of ICC WCL Division 3.

Our captain cool Paras Khadka said to ICC-Cricket, “Everyone is working hard and we are very keen to play our very best and win the tournament. If we play to our potential we will come out with flying colours. It’s a major tournament and everyone is really keen to perform and climb up the divisional ladder.”

Karan KC is new in team who showed his beautiful game in previous games and got chance to be in the national team. He can be a gem and used against Team Uganda as he is new to them too. Sompal Kami, fast bowler from Nepal also came up with his excellent batting in the previous matches.

Roger Mukasa is a person of fear for Nepali Cricket Team. But hope our boys will lay him down.
