Nepal finally ended it’s 23 years drought to win a trophy with a sweet victory over rival India in the SAG Men’s Football 2016 Finale.

Nepal were a goal down after Halicharan scored from the penalty spot in the 21st minute but a world class free kick from Prakash Budhathoki and a goal from Nawayug Shrestha sealed the victory for the Nepalese.

After the game, Nepal were singing the National Anthem when after just few seconds the song stopped but our boys continued to sing the anthem loud and with pride. They couldn’t have made us any prouder !
