However, the dependency of Nepal into other countries for almost everything has changed the mindset of the young generation. As a result, the number of startups is increasing in Nepal. So, here are some of the promising startup of Nepal which I have listed out for you
Pathao
Similar to Tootle, Pathao is a Ride sharing app that was introduced in Nepal on 25 September 2018 but was founded in Bangladesh in 2015. It is one of the fastest-growing tech startups in Asia. Pathao has even started the food delivery services.
However, here in the context of Nepal, it’s services are Bike and Car ride-sharing which is similar to Tootle a Nepali ride-sharing App. After the introduction of Pathao, the Nepali market has been divided into two which was solely owned by tootle before due to lack of competition.
Nepal Communitere
Nepal Communitere is a non-profit organization that provides space for creativity and innovation to sustainably rebuild, renew, and develop Nepal which was established in 2015 after the devastating Earthquake In Nepal.
It is a Nepali branch of Communitere International which creates dynamic, collaborative hubs in places that have been severely affected so that they can rebuild their community. similar to Nepal they have been working on Haiti since the 2010 earthquake and Philipines after 2013 typhoon.

The local Project Nepal is a platform for local Nepali products with the motive of promoting the Nepali products among the Nepalese population as well as to promote local entrepreneurs with a sustainable livelihood.

Honey Guide to the Mountains
The Honey Guide is similar to the travel agency which books flight lodges guides and finds the Trek however they are different as you can book the service directly from the service provider not only that it also lets you customize your trek the way you see fit.
It was founded by Mr. Ashish Shrestha (CEO), Abhishek Pande (CFO), and Diwakar Ghimire( CTO) with the vision of Empowering and raising the livelihood of the Porters, Guides, Trek Leaders and lodge owner but also to increase the level of service in the long run.
Portal Bikes
Portal bikes is a social business whose mission is to develop the world’s most innovative and adaptable bicycle that will be able to transform the lives and Empower the business. It offers products like long-tail bikes, Portal PTO, and PTO tools.
