For students in Nepal interested in artificial intelligence, this is a deadline worth checking before the month ends. The seventh Annual Nepal AI School lists October 31, 2026 as the student-scholarship application deadline for applicants residing in Nepal. The organisers’ application page sets out what to prepare and makes clear that selection is required.
An intensive programme in Bhaktapur
The school, organised by the NepAl Applied Mathematics and Informatics Institute for research, is scheduled for December 28, 2026 to January 7, 2027 at Kathmandu World School in Suryabinayak, Bhaktapur.
Its official description combines lectures, labs and project work over eleven days. The audience includes students, researchers, teachers and professionals with an interest or background in areas such as computing, mathematics and AI. Attendance is in person.
Prepare evidence of your own work
The application guidance asks for a CV and supporting documents appropriate to the applicant category. Students need evidence of their student status, and scholarship applicants must supply academic results. The page also explains when responses to the application questions are required.
Start with a small folder of accurate material: your current CV, the relevant academic record, proof of enrolment and notes on projects you can explain. If you have built something modest, describe the problem and your contribution clearly. An honest small project is more useful than a grand claim you cannot support.
Keep the application recognisably yours
The organisers allow AI assistance with wording and editing but require authentic experiences and original personal content. Their guidance rejects invented achievements and largely AI-written answers without meaningful personal input.
Read the official checklist before submitting. The page separately lists November 15 for the general non-scholarship category; those routes should not be confused. A scholarship application is not a scholarship offer, and any eventual offer should be checked for exactly what it covers.
For a classmate who has been waiting for a concrete way to deepen their AI knowledge, sharing the official application page may be more useful than another general prediction about the future of technology.
