One of the country’s most prestigious state owned company “Nepal Telecom” just appointed a women as a Managing Director Mrs. Kamini Rajbhandari who is the Chief Operating Officer at NTC.
Kamini Rajbhandari was appointed as the Managing Director of Nepal Telecom by the government. From the Cabinet decision, Rajbhandari was promoted as the Managing Director in a meeting held at Singha Durbar.
Rajbhandari was recommended among the final three including Sunil Pokharel and Madan Kharel on a selection committee formed under the secretary of Ministry for Information and Communication, Dinesh Thapaliya.
Rajbhandari has contributed in several department of Nepal Telecom including Wireless service directorate, Wire-line directorate, Planning Department and Maintenance Department for past years. She is now the first female engineer to be appointed as Managing Director.
