Cristiano Ronaldo has once again proved that he’s not only the best player in the world but also a gentleman who cares for the humanity. He was recently voted as the most charitable athlete in the world and here is another example of that was a lovely guy.
Jetin Shrestha, 13, was playing football with his friends when the devastating earthquake hit Nepal in the April, 2015. After standing still while the tremors took over, Jetin continued to play, unaware that the earthquake took the lives of nearly 10,000 Nepalese. It was Havana and Portugese-based journalist Magarida Mota who heard about this admiring story and took an effort to tell Cristiano about Jetin. Mota made contact with the footballer’s agent Jorge Mendes. The jersey reads “Jetin Shrestha, Be Strong, Cristiano Ronaldo”. The football lover opened the package in front of friends in his school and photographer Omar Havana.
