On September 19th 2015, Mira raced in the Ultra Pirineu in Spain. It was the final race in the Skyrunning series where she finished in the 2nd place. When at home in Nepal, Mira visited a temple before a race to make an offering & pray for favour. This footage offers a glimpse into Mira’s spiritual & cultural heritage & how she prepares for a race.
Mira has come a long way from when she turned up after being invited by friends to a 50km race in Kathmandu just under 2 years ago. Dressed in her tracksuit bottoms & cotton shirt without any idea what this mountain racing thing was all about, she won that race & her raw talent has taken her to races around the world in pursuit of her dream to become a champion mountain runner.
