Nepali Police Officer sets record in Guiness World Record for Parkour

Dinesh Sunar, a police officer, stuntman and parkour athlete has set a Guinness World Records for Most Twisting backflips off a wall in one minute.

Parkour is a method of physical training that develops one’s ability to overcome obstacles, both physical and mental. Dinesh has been involved in parkour since 15. With his hard work and commitment to parkour, he has developed good skills in it.

Right now, he is the president of the Parkour Free-running Association of Nepal and works for the local Armed Police Force. He has also worked as a stuntman in a number of movies.

In the event, Dinesh had managed to complete astounding 18 flips, where people had cheered and pumped him up. All the crowds were there supporting him all the way from beginning to the end.

 

To set the record one had to attempt each flip, which had to be mid-air 360-degree rotation backward. The challenger had to rotate their body 360 degrees in a barrel-roll twist while in the air and then land facing the wall.
